A quatrain that turns the saying "all that glitters is not gold" inside out.
Thank you for helping me brush up on my poetry terms. :) Thanks for the read!
being well grounded is not a bad thing you know...smiles...and you handled profound well...ha. nice man...maybe last but not least...love your creative delivery...
Thank you sir!! I am trying to find that ground more and more.
the glitter is all too soon gone with the wind...good to stay grounded...is this your typewriter..? very cool, learned typing on one like this...seems ages ago..smiles
Yes it is mine. I picked it up a few weeks ago on craigslist, It weighs too much to lug around so I have another on the way. I love experimenting with different media. And I just love writing poetry on a typewriter...smiles
I agree, the ground is good...everything good starts there. And, that photo of your typewriter is simply magnificent!
I guess I interpret this differently then others... I concur on the photo, however. Very cool image.
I am curious how you interpret this. I can see some possibilities, and I actually think I meant something else when I first wrote it...but now I am not so sure. :)
I agree that if we really look closely, ground is beautiful and it is the stuff of which we are made. Nice.
Yes it is. I love the smell of earth.
The ground most of the times is more precious than gold! Nicely written, loved the way in which you have captured the words in the picture :)
Thank you. I have always disliked writing poetry on the computer. I have trouble connecting with my words and hand writing or typing helps me connect so that is how I present.
Very lovely share ~ I like the snapshot presentation ~ And yes, being grounded helps, though I like to keep my eyes set far away ~
