Crescendo

Our existence
Is silence
Between the folds
Of the unfolded
We reside
Watching flowers
Bloom
Under blue skies
Between the rustle
Of leaves
You can hear
The noiselessness
Of our nature
A cacophony
That envelops
Impenetrable
Impervious
To the thought
To the will
Of the outside
So we are
Cast aside
To live
In our existence
In silence

Steady

Out in the cold

Morning Light

When dew is

Fresh upon the 

Grass

He stands with

Resolve

Breathing the 

Crisp

Morning

Sun

Lilac scented

Inspired

He breaks

Away

From the known

Stepping with

Deliberate

steady feet

He releases

Himself to 

The

Unknown

Sunshine

Standing on a moment of

Indecision

A thin chalk drawn

Line

Of reality

Real and not real

Over which the heart ceases to beat

A pulse of depth

A pulse of life

Like seeing

The birds outside the

Prison walls

Seeing the open

Gate and fighting the urge

To Run

Out into the light

Out in to free

Out in to the peace

The subtle quiet

Instead I turn from the door
And walk slowly down the hall

Canopy

In the peace

Of the forest

A tree stands

Alone Screaming

Searching Branches

Outstretched

For sun

Artichoke Eaters

Surrounded by love

Tender and Kind

Warm and sweet

Makes for a lonely

View

Of the world

Shadowed in bright crispness

Laughing faces

Split open in

Carnivorous grins

Eating hearts

Of artichokes

Simplest

I wanna be free

Free to float on a distant

Dream

A dream locked in reality

With beautiful bliss

And sunshine

Old wood and

Threadbare clothes

I dream such a dream

When light streams

Through simple windows

Falling in beams of hope

Blossoming simple love

In faded jeans

Love waits

And lives

Love and Fear

I am thinking of a time

When

I will choose to live

Rather than be defined

By limitations

The shackles that bind me

Do not define me

But the breath

I breathe

When I am free

To breathe

Under the Sun

Without constraints

Without bonds

Without suffocation

If I choose to leave

If I choose to stay

I will not stay

Because of any fear

I choose to

Live

And

Be alive

If I am not alive here

I will be alive elsewhere

I want to

Rejoice in the love

Rejoice in the sun

Rejoice in being alive

I want to

Be alive

Fly with the birds

Live with the dolphins

Become a blade of grass

Bend with the wind

Be a snowflake

In midsummer

Be a grain of sand

Blown across the dunes

Sway in the breeze

Be a drop of rain

I want to live

I want to love

Do not fear

The choices I make

Be not defined

By fear

Live and love
